President’s Message:
Aurora Mundi is a global network for social entrepreneurship, established under the auspices of KBT Vocational College in Norway. Aurora Mundi is also anchored within KBT’s International Office, strengthening its ability to connect partners, programmes, and initiatives across borders. Our name, Aurora Mundi, “Dawn of the World”, captures what we stand for: New beginnings, Practical solutions, and The Power of collaboration Internationally.

We are building a community of social entrepreneurs, educators, institutions, and partners who believe that meaningful change happens when ambition is matched with action. Aurora Mundi exists to connect people who create solutions, strengthening competence, accelerating partnerships, and supporting initiatives that generate real impact in local communities.
Today, Aurora Mundi is engaged in initiatives across multiple regions, including projects and collaborations in China, India, Brazil, South Africa, and many European countries like Ukraine and Sweden. Our work spans education, community development, social innovation, and sustainable local growth, always rooted in partnership and shared learning.
Here are a few examples of current project directions:

China; Rural Development and Entrepreneurship in Action
In China, Aurora Mundi is engaged in village and rural development initiatives together with URB (Urban Rural Bridge) and KBT Vocational College. We are also developing an international “Sister Village” cooperation, connecting communities across countries to share knowledge, exchange methods, and co-create practical models for sustainable local development. Importantly, our China engagement is already generating strong momentum: we currently support and follow approximately 41 entrepreneurship projects, a growing portfolio of ideas turned into action.
Ukraine; Recovery, Social Entrepreneurship, and Veteran Support
In Ukraine, Aurora Mundi supports initiatives linked to rebuilding communities and expanding future opportunities. Together with KBT Vocational College, and through collaboration connected to the KBT44 initiative, we contribute to learning environments where students and practitioners develop social entrepreneurship projects in a post-war context, focused on resilience, recovery, and long-term community strengthening.

A particularly important part of our Ukraine engagement is our work with veterans and the families of veterans. Through dedicated projects and a growing partner network, we are contributing to support models that address PTSD and cumulative moral injury, recognizing that recovery is not only an individual journey, but a family and community process. This work is strengthened by many cooperation partners across education, mental health, and civil society, all committed to sustainable solutions that can be scaled and adapted.
Our progress is powered by strong partnerships. We collaborate with international networks like, Innovation Circle Network (ICN), Urban Rural Bridge (URB), and a growing number of other actors who share our commitment to building sustainable solutions. Through these alliances, Aurora Mundi helps bridge ideas with implementation, connecting people, resources, and proven methods across borders.
Thank you to every partner, student, educator, and social entrepreneur who is part of this journey. The dawn is not a promise, it is something we create, together.
